India’s Operation Sindoor (May 6-7, 2025) targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir, killing over 100 terrorists, including Abdul Rauf Azhar, a key figure in past attacks. Pakistan condemned the strikes as “blatant aggression,” reporting 26 deaths, including civilians, and retaliated with drone and missile attempts on Indian cities like Jammu, Srinagar, and Pathankot, which were foiled. Heavy shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch has caused a blackout in Jammu and killed 12 civilians and one Indian soldier, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, in Poonch.
